Like a witness of a time supposedly forgotten
Like old grudges said to be buried
Like wounds ideally healed
Unlike any office or apartment block
Beirut, Lebanon.
An abandoned building used as a vantage point during civil war, reveals traces of the souls that long ago used to make it “live”, and the more recent lost ones whose skeletons still haunt the place…
Everything : from the furniture, ramparts, bullet impacts, to the decay remains… untouched.
A stifling journey whose only outcome is the way out.
